Los Angeles Security Service Company

Security Patrol

Vehicle:

This service consists of an officer in a marked patrol vehicle to inspect the client’s property at random times each day within a designated time period. The officer’s duties would include patrolling the property, providing parking enforcement, including the citing and/or booting or towing of illegally parked vehicles while inspecting the property on each visit to look for suspicious or criminal activity.

Our officer’s presence will provide a visual deterrence to trespassing, burglary, theft, vandalism or other criminal activity. If prudent and necessary, our officers may make arrests and/or notify local law enforcement, if criminal activity is occurring. Usually a client will receive 2 complementary responses per month to have the officer return to their property for a disturbance or emergency situation.

Vacation Watch:

Commonly a temporary vehicle patrol account, an officer will inspect the client’s property at random times each day designated and look for suspicious or criminal activity.

If the client wishes to they may notify their alarm company so to call us during their vacation period. Our officer will, if designated by the client, move mail or large packages to a secure area on the property or bring them back to the office until the client returns.

Posted Guard

Sentry Officers:

Consists of a dedicated uniformed officer to protect the property during the hours designated. The officer’s duties would include patrolling the property by foot, providing parking enforcement, removing any unwanted persons from the property, fire/safety inspections and other duties as assigned by the Client. On some properties the officer’s primary task may include access control.

The presence of a uniformed officer will provide a noticeable deterrence to potential criminal activity and the appearance of our uniforms and strict grooming standards will project a professional image. If any criminal activity is discovered, our officer will notify local law enforcement as soon as possible and may arrest if prudent and necessary.

In some occasions the client may want a faster response or more of an area covered by the officer. They may request a form of conveyance for the guard to travel on, such as a bicycle, horse, golf cart, etc.

Alarms

Alarm Response:

When notified by a contracted alarm company, an RSS officer may be dispatched to a client’s property to visually inspect it for evidence of forced entry. Any suspicious persons or activity will be investigated and if prudent and necessary, our officers may make arrests and/or notify local law enforcement, if criminal activity is occurring.

Additional Services

Parking Enforcement:

Citations:

Our officer will inspect the parking and/or designated areas in search for violators of either the client’s property regulations or violations of common laws. We will write a parking violation to track the vehicle’s infractions; a copy of the citation is placed on the vehicle, a second copy is given to the client and a final copy is kept in our office for record keeping.

Towing:

Although citing alone may be effective, there are many situations that warrant the towing of a violator’s vehicle. In order to meet the demands of our clients and provide a valuable service, Royal Security Service maintains a relationship with the local Official Police Garages (OPGs). Together with over 18 OPGs in the Los Angeles area and numerous other reliable service providers we are able to provide safe, reliable and cost effective impounding, towing and storage.  For more than 70 years, the Official Police Garages (OPGs) and their 18 service providers (for 21 police divisions) have provided safe, reliable and cost-efficient impounding, towing and storage to the City of Los Angeles.

Booting:

A follow up option for some of our clients when a written notification is not enough for their violators to correct their infractions, is a less abrasive method by immobilizing the vehicle with a boot on one of the tires.
The officer places a citation on the front of the car and a yellow removable sticker notifying the driver to call Royal Security to remove the boot. Then one of our vehicle patrol officers meets with the violator, and then charges the violator a fee for the removal of the boot.

This service is beneficial to the client because it gets the message across quickly and cost effectively. It’s efficient for the violator because their vehicle remains on the property and the removal fee is much less than that of towing.
